TASTE REAL KHMER FLAVOUR

BUT MAKE IT VEGAN

Sundays is more than just a place to eat, it’s where family recipes and creativity have come together. We’re transforming the traditional Cambodian dishes Darren grew up with, into delicious plant-based versions.

Our menu has the deep flavours of the Khmer cuisine alongside our collective western (Australian & British) upbringing. Sundays is a unique fusion experience that feels both familiar and exciting.

Our London & Sydney background means coffee at Sundays is serious business. We spent hours finding high-quality beans with the right flavour profile so we can serve up everything from smooth oat lattes to iced shaken espressos. We also like to play around with flavours so if you’re looking for something different, try our iced yuzu espresso soda.

We’re passionate about what goes into every dish. That’s why we source our ingredients supporting local businesses while making sure everything is fresh and full of flavour. From the local herbs transformed into delicious kroeung (Cambodian curry paste) to our iced coconut matchas, every bite and sip is crafted with care.

Vegan Food That Celebrates Cambodia

At Sundays, we’re all about taking the flavours we grew up with and making them vegan because eating plant-based shouldn’t mean giving up the foods Aunty made you. From the street classic nompang (bread) to the rich creamy nom banh chok (vermicelli noodle) curries , our dishes honour the depth of traditional Khmer cooking.

And we don’t stop at Cambodian dishes! You’ll find a little bit of everything on our menu, with flavours from across Asia and beyond. Think Korean spices, Australian-style brunches, American fluffy pancakes, all prepared in a way that lets the fresh, local ingredients shine.

One of the things that makes our café truly special is the art that fills our walls. Our collection features works from across the world, beautifully displayed in vintage frames that add to the character of the space. We’ve collected pieces from Phnom Penh, London, Sydney, Korea and China. It’s not just decoration, our art tells stories, starts conversations, and is our personal touch to the café.
